THE PRESENT TENSE

There are four kinds of the present tense, they are :
v  The Simple Present tense


S + V + O
 
 



Example:
*       She usually eats dinner at 7 o’clock
*      Tony always works harder for exam
*      Siska doesn’t like  durian
*      He really likes playing guitar
*      The Baby always cries  at the night
*      I want to eat my birthday cake
*      He fixes  his computer by himself
*      She needs a chopsticks to eat noodle
*      Shawn makes a kite for his brother
*      They usually borrow  a book from library

v  The Present Continuous Tense


S + are/is/am + Verb-ing + O
 
 



Example:
*      Listen! The bell is ringing, lets go to the canteen
*      She is waiting in the corner of the street right now.
*      He always sitting near to the window
*      The weather is getting colder
*      They are watching a horror movie right now
*      It is raining in outside
*       My mother is cooking right now
*      They are laughing right now
*      I am saving money to buy a new phone
*      She is calling her aunt in bandung

v  The Present Perfect


S + have/has + V +O
 
 


Example:
*      They have finished a big concert in chile yesterday
*      Rina has studied English
*      Have you  visited bali?
*      she  hasn’t told me about the homework for today
*      have you heard justin bieber new song?
*      she hasn’t found her wallet yet
*      he has started a new job
*      they haven’t eaten their lunch
*      he has broken the glass
*      I haven’t watched the concert, because I have a class

v  The Present Perfect Tense


S + have/has +been + Verb-ing +O
 
 


Example:
*      The train has been leaving 12 minutes ago
*      They have been working in there since 2015
*      The teacher has been teaching us for 2 hours
*      Have you been doing the homework?
*      Has she been waiting so long?
*      The baby has been crying about 1 hour
*      They haven’t been playing basketball since last month
*      she hasn’t been walking for 30 minutes
*      I haven’t been seen them for 2 days
*      I haven’t been feeling well since last night
